Motherblessing

A Motherblessing is an intimate, loving ceremony where we honor, celebrate, and support the pregnant woman. We no longer bring her tips or advice, but our presence, trust, and blessings. Where the 120th day celebration marks the beginning of motherhood and announces the pregnancy, the Motherblessing is a ritual in preparation for birth – a moment of empowerment, support, and surrender, carried by the women around you.

An ancient tradition of feminine strength

In many traditional cultures, a pregnant woman is not sent off with balloons or gifts for the baby, but received in a circle of women who nourish, bless, and empower her for the journey she is about to make: the birth of her child – and of herself as a mother.

Each Motherblessing is unique and tailored to the mother in the center. It takes place at a chosen location and is carried by the women she has invited: friends, sisters, mothers, doulas, or other loved ones.

A ritual from woman to woman

During this ceremony, we consciously take time to surround the mother with symbolic and personal rituals:

  • We open the circle with intentions and connect with each other’s hearts
  • We share words of strength, wisdom, and love
  • We give meaningful gifts: a bead necklace, affirmation cards, flowers, texts, small objects
  • We decorate her belly or body (for example with henna or flowers)
  • We perform rituals like the red thread, a foot bath, or a blessing circle
  • We sing, meditate, breathe, and let her rest in a bed of trust

€ 350 / 4 hours

The mother does not pay for her own blessing – it is a gift from the women around her. The price per participant is agreed upon in consultation, with a minimum of 10 women or a fixed minimum price of € 350 (excluding any location costs).
